The Mythical Advice for Go-Getting Women:
"Honey, you've just got to learn to slow down!"


How many times have you beat yourself up for not slowing down, for being an overachiever or for not prioritizing time for relaxation?

You've tried slowing down, right? But you're like a bull in a china shop- you trample over your scheduled free time by choosing your to-do list over that nice deep breathing tape you were supposed to listen to. Or you take a day off, but you're thinking about your business the whole time. You wonder if you really are one of those dreaded workaholic monsters you've always feared becoming...


Hold on! I've got a newsflash:

There is nothing wrong with you.
In fact, there is something really RIGHT with you.


You are a powerfully creative woman.
This means you are full of creative energy to bring more value into the world. You channel it in various ways- the service your business offers, the program you are helping a local organization to achieve, the makeover you want to do for your living room and the list goes on. Most everyone in the world is powerfully creative, but there is a certain breed of us whose pull to create is "on" 24/7.  Because this creative energy flows constantly, it excites you and you will always feel its pull. Always. No wonder it doesn't feel natural to slow down... 

But want to hear something relieving?
Because you are a powerfully creative woman, following the advice "just slow down" will never work for you, so you can toss that out the window. AND, it is absolutely possible for you to find your optimum cruise speed.  You just have to take a different route- the one that meets you where you are, and is specifically tailored to help you get more ease and less exhaustion when you haven't been able to get it by following the popular advice out there.


I do want more ease, so what's the next step?


Take a moment to think of all the times you've tried to slow down or create more balance in your life so that you could feel less exhausted, but it just didn't work. In fact, it might have created even more stress because you seemingly failed at taking care of yourself.
